THE VETERINARIAN'S OATH - Being admitted to the profession of Veterinary Medicine, I solemnly dedicate myself and the knowledge I possess to the benefit of society, to the conservation of our livestock resources and to the relief of suffering animals.  I will practice my profession conscientiously and with dignity.  The health of my patients, the best interest of the owners, and the welfare of my fellow man, will be my primary considerations.  I will, at all times, be humane and temper pain with anesthesia where indicated.  I will not use my knowledge contrary to the laws of humanity, nor in contravention to the ethical code of my profession.  I will uphold and strive to advance the honor and noble traditions of the veterinary profession.  These pledges I make freely in the eyes of God and upon my honor.

Hello!  I am Dr. Joy Fine.  I am very excited to be joining the staff of Park Cedar Animal Hospital.  I intend to provide the best possible care for dogs and cats as well as offering care to exotic species, which are one of my special interests as a veterinarian.  I also have a strong interest in the exciting new field of veterinary dentistry.
I was raised in Perrysburg, Ohio with my brother, sister, and a variety of animals.  I attended the University of Richmond in Virginia.  While earning my B.S. in Biology, I founded the pre-vet club and was active in the university dance company, drama program, and the Alpha Phi sorority.
I attended the Ross School of Veterinary Medicine.  Although my course work did keep me very busy, I did find time to teach a weekly children's ballet class and was an active member of the student American Animal Hospital Association and vice-president of our student chapter of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians.  My clinical year was completed at Purdue University  in Indiana with an externship at the Chaffee Zoo in Fresno, California.
Following graduation, I spent two years and six months practicing in Cleveland, Ohio.  I now reside in Charlotte with my Bullmastiff, Chantilly.
Dr. Brandy Parsley joined the staff in June 2003.  She grew up in High Point, North Carolina.  Dr. Parsley attended High Point University.  She graduated magna cum laude in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science of Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Parsley attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University (Gig 'em Ags!!), receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  She has special interests in Dermatology and Cardiology.
Dr. Parsley is owned by two lab mixes, Koda and Sirius, as well as Alley, a domestic long haired cat.  Her personal interests include tennis, swimming, reading and travel.
